GENERAL GUIDELINES ON ACCOMMODATION OF HALLS OF RESIDENCE (HoR)
1. All freshers shall be distributed into permanent HoR. Thereafter they will ballot for bed spaces on the basis of their assigned HoR.
2. Students
with medical challenges (physically challenged inclusive) should
register at the Medical Centre; otherwise their cases will not be
treated by the Student Affairs Division.
3. No sales of scratch cards for accommodation. Students are advised to log on directly to www.unilaghalls.com for allocation of bed spaces using matriculation number or jamb registration number as the case is applicable
4. Students should strictly abide by the time table for allocation of bed spaces for each category.
5. Illegal
sales or purchase of bed spaces attracts rustication for two (2)
semesters; any student caught will be disciplined accordingly, so
beware!!!
6. Students
must pay their accommodation fee within 3-working days after allocation
of bed space, else the bed space stands forfeited
7. Deriving
from nine (9) above, another round of balloting will be carried out to
give opportunity to students who did not succeed in the earlier ballot.
8. Complaints
should be channeled through the online help desk for accommodation.
All complaints shall be attended to promptly. No students and staff are
allowed to gather in or outside the Students Affairs Office.
9. Re-assignment of HoR based on choice will not be entertained; students with such request shall forfeit his/her allocation.
10. All students
are requested to avail themselves of information on accommodation
through the Unilag Website, Lagmobile and the Information Flash.
11. Allocation of bed spaces will commence in December for the 100 level. Final year and other levels will commence in January.
How to apply
Registered student for the 2016/2017 Academic session should follow the procedure Outline below to ballot for bedspace in the allotted Hall of Residence
1. Login to university website @ www.unilag.edu.ng
2. Under the Icon Student login - Click undergraduate login
3. Login with your Matric number and password for balloting for Accommodation
4. If you have registered for the 2016/2017 Academic session Apply for bed space. Icon will be displayed
5. Click on Apply for bed space
6. Once the application is successful
7. Click on the button and print pay advice
8. The allocation will LAPSE after 48 hours
9. Proceed to the bank to make payment before the allocation expires (48 hours)
10. Upon successful payment, return to the student portal to print our Accommodation confirmation slip
11. Proceed to your Hall of Resident to Register your badspace
