JAMB 2017: 7 Solid Ways to Approach that ‘BIG’ exam

jamb 2017 mentalities

JAMB 2017: 7 Solid Ways to Approach that ‘BIG’JAMB UTME examination is one exam that is being looked forward to by many admission-seeking Nigerian students. JAMB exam day is almost like Christmas or Sallah day to millions of Nigerian students, who troop out in mass to cross the necessary hurdle in the pursuit of higher learning in Nigeria.
At least one-third of students who troop out to take this basic tertiary institution entrance examination (UTME) will end up not getting admitted into any institution in the end! That’s the devastating truth.
I have to say the truth here; nearly half of those denied admission into the institution of their choice had not passed the JAMB cut-off mark. But you don’t want to be among those denied admission because they couldn’t pass JAMB cut-off, do you? This is why I have composed this article, just for you my friend.

BREAKING!! 38% Make Five Credits As WAEC Releases NOV/DEC WASSCE Results

A total of 66,497 out of the 172,699 candidates who sat for the West African Senior School Certificate Examination for private candidates this year recorded five credits and above in five subjects, including Mathematics and English Language.
Only four candidates out of the 19 visually-challenged candidates who sat for the examination obtained credits in five subjects, including English Language and Mathematics.
The Head of National Office of the council, Mr. Olu Adenipekun, said

"Cancel cut off marks" Says Minister.

The federal government through the minister of state for education has come out to order the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB to abolish uniform cut off marks of 180 for all federal institutions across the country.
This new policy would be put in place as early as next year.

The minister, Mr Anthony Anwuka, said that this would be a relief to many candidates as those schools who have too many applicants would be brought to the same level as the ones with little applicants every year.

He made this statement in a meeting held in Abuja on the 21st of November, 2016.
